- Welcome to Red Boots Artworks. I am a Milton, Ontario Artist. This is a place where I can display and share my artwork. I am continually learning and evolving and welcome your comments. My artwork is somewhat eclectic as I paint/draw what inspires me in the moment. I enjoy doing portraits of both people and pets. With each portrait I see individual personalities shine through and having the opportunity to give someone a personal and long lasting gift, gives me great pleasure. I also enjoy working with acrylic paints. The vibrant colours come to life on the canvas. Whimsical and fun is generally the theme through out my paintings. Templeton was definitely outside of my comfort zone. Not only had I never attempted to paint an animal before, it is a departure from my usual 'style'.... whatever that might be. Im so glad I was asked to do this, as it has given me the confidence to try other new projects I might otherwise never have attempted.

Summer in the Muskokas, spending time at the cottage. The anticipation while driving north. Arriving and breathing in the sweet summer air filled with the scent of pine and cedar, hearing the sounds of boats in the distance and feeling the excitement of that first run into the lake.
